SAIC is preparing for support of the Marine Corps Engineer School MAGTF Engineer Center (MEC) contract. We are actively seeking experienced professionals and incumbent staff located in the CONUS. Positions include a wide range of qualifications. We anticipate these services to start on or about October 2014. Positions will be located at: Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton OH
Positions Include:
-Senior Systems Administrator
-Intermediate Systems Administrator
-Senior Service Desk Technician
-Intermediate Service Desk Technician
-Service Desk Technician
-Hardware/Software Installation Technician
-Systems Technician
Desired skills include:
Image and configure, set-up, and troubleshoot computer systems, laptops, associated peripherals and hand-held devices; configure network printers; create and modify Active Directory objects; track, document and close trouble tickets in Remedy or similar ticket system; administer Microsoft Windows operating systems, server hardware, and Storage Area Networks (SAN); creating, developing and managing Microsoft Virtual Servers; applying software upgrades and system patching; use of Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
The scope of this contract effort includes technical support in the configuration, implementation, operation, and
troubleshooting of information systems and computers connected to the WPAFB network backbone. It will provide support for several different areas and tasks, to include: System Administrator, Senior System Administrator, Service Desk Technicians, and Hardware/Software Installation Technicians.

Basic Education, Skills and Experience: Minimum qualification requirements will be based on the specific position, but all qualifications will include a combination of minimum education and years of experience.
All candidates must be certified in accordance with (IAW) DOD 8570.01-M. Additionally, each candidate must possess well-developed written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate ability to speak/instruct in front of large groups and clearly express thoughts and ideas.
Security Clearance Requirements: Ability to gain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
Travel: Minimal travel is anticipated with this position, both in and outside the Continental United States.
