Description:


SAIC has a contingent requirement for a Production Equipment Manager who will be the Lead Manager and support USFF Activities for COMPACFLT Activities located at SWRMC and support (SWRMC, NWRMC, and HRMC).

The Production Equipment Manager will also support CNRMC’s Capital Investment Program (CIP) and Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) Managers.

The primary functions of the Production Equipment Manager includes but is not limited to:

· Developing and maintaining CNRMC’s NAMTS production equipment phase replacement plan and

projected cost for each of the RMCs and NTMAs.

-Developing general equipment specifications and drawings submissions via NAVSEAs Capital Investment Program (CIP) and Capital Assett Tracking System (CATS).

· Providing Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) program and inventory oversight.

· Developing pre and post preventative maintenance and standard operation procedures for IPE and NAMTS production tools.

· Tracking of major equipment and tool outages that could affect the effectiveness of the NAMTS program at each RMC or NTMA

· Providing IPE and NAMTS production tools maintenance and repair oversight.

· Identifying and coordinating with industrial equipment and tool vendors. (All liaison and interactions will be governed by U.S. and DoD ethics guidelines and will comply with all provisions of the Foreign Corrupt

Practices Act of 1977, as amended, 15 U.S.C. §§ 78dd-1, et seq.)

· Attending industrial equipment and tool trade shows as needed to keep abreast of new technologies and equipment.

· Identifying specialized training requirements for IPE and NAMTS production equipment that will improve the quality of the training and skillsets acquired via the NAMTS program.

Qualifications

:
Minimum Experience and Qualification Requirements:

Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience to provide command level oral and written presentations, correspondence, documents and reports.

Must possess knowledge of organizational level (O-Level) intermediate level (I-Level) maintenance requirements, equipment and the capabilities of shore and shipboard maintenance activities.

Must possess advanced knowledge level of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and its requirements.

Ten (10) years’ experience within a Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA), Supervisor Ship Building (SUPSHIP), Intermediate Maintenance Facilities (IMF), RMC or Non-Nuclear Afloat

Maintenance Department as a supervisor in charge of scheduling, training and quality assurance (QA) of Sailors that perform I-Level shipboard maintenance and repair on engineering, deck, combat systems

and/or C4I equipment.

1-2 years of experience to write generic industrial equipment specifications, utilize the CATS program and adhere to all NAVSEA CIP submission standards and requirements.

Must possess the ability to manage the DPAS program and access the DPAS system.

Minimum Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field is preferred but not required.
