Mid Counterproliferation Training Analyst (Job Number:401948)
Description:
SAIC is looking for a Mid Counterproliferation Training Analyst in the Arlington, VA area.
Job Description Provide subject matter expertise on counterproliferation policy and programs in direct support of government client. This includes instructional expertise such as curriculum/course development, instruction to U.S. and international partners, event planning and training venue organization, coordination with U.S. government Agencies and Departments, and content development and administration for internet-based distance learning products. Successful candidates will provide policy recommendations and country background material to support program planning and coordination.
Qualifications
:
- 6+ years experience in defense, military and/or international affairs.
- Functional expertise/proficiency is needed in various disciplines including: Customs and Border Protection (land, sea, air, green border interdiction processes and strategy); WMD Counterproliferation, Identification, Interdiction, Response, Dual Use Licensing, Interagency Collaboration; Law Enforcement Investigation and Legal Framework; Cyber Crime Investigation and Security; Hazardous Materials and Crisis Response Planning; Regional WMD Issues and Cultural Expertise; International Instruction/ Facilitation Experience
- 3+ years prior experience in instruction in an international environment and curriculum development in the functional areas described above.
- 3+ years prior experience on combatant command, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) or senior service staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and application of distance learning courseware tools.
BS/BA political science, law, law enforcement, engineering and/or scientific discipline (physics, chemistry or biology).
MS/MA/JD strongly preferred.
Training and certifications strongly preferred in the following disciplines: law enforcement especially counter smuggling, hazardous materials particularly as related to WMD, regional/area studies, and computer based training.
Desired Skills:
Prior real-world Counter WMD instructional expertise
Regional expertise in multiple AORs.
Prior FBI experience strongly desired.
