Description:



Candidate will work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and multimedia developers to analyze and design instructional courseware for use in multiple learning environments. Using the standard ISD (Instructional Systems Design) process and ADDIE model, the candidate will create sexual assault curricula education and training materials for instructor-led, blended learning, CD, web-based, and Learning Management System (LMS) delivery. The candidate serves as an instructional designer of both resident and distance learning curriculum across the sexual assault education and training continuum. Responsible for conducting requirements analysis, creating storyboards, developing objectives and activities, and applying ISD strategies to the design of multimedia based training courses. Performs other related duties as assigned. Limited travel within the CONUS is required.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Instructional Systems Design or related field strongly is required or a combination of education and work experience (4 years of on-the job training and experience in lieu of degree). 3+ years of related on the job experience is required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Demonstrated ability to use the ISD process to develop instructor led or multimedia based courseware in a deadline-driven setting.

- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theories, development of learning objectives, etc. in accordance Task Lead guidance, referenced Air Force instructions and policy directives.

- Ability to conduct a front-end analysis, write objectives, and use various instructional strategies in training design.

- Expert user of Microsoft Office software applications.

- Demonstrated ability to work with SMEs and to work in a team environment.

- Exceptional written and oral communication skills

- Deliver SAPR related classroom instruction including facilitating discussions, practical exercises, and demonstration

- U.S. Citizenship is required.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

- Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

DESIRED SKILLS:

-
Experience with USAF education and training courseware development.

- Experience with Sexual assault prevention and response (SAPR).
- Experience with DOD distance learning capabilities (i.e. Learning management systems); system simulation tools such as Macromedia Captivate and authoring tools such as Trivantis Lectora.
