JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC has an immediate opening for a Logistics Analyst to support life cycle maintenance and integrated product support
for US Navy C4I systems. The candidate will be responsible for forecasting Logistics requirements related to logistics data development as well as
forecasting Logistics requirements related to logistics data development. The person will be responsible for extensive resource and data planning for Government scheduled
systems installations. The successful candidate will have specific, recent and extensive experience providing logistics
support to C4ISR systems on board US Navy platforms. Candidates must possess a comprehensive working knowledge
- f US Navy and Department of Defense Logistics Systems including supply processes, C5RA requirements, stock control,
warehousing, inventory management, logistics provisioning, and physical distribution of supplies. In addition, candidates
must have a thorough knowledge and documented use of software systems/databases including CDMD-OA, SCLSIS
and RRAM. A clear understanding of DoD and US Navy inventory management is also critical to success in this position,
including familiarity with INCO and PBL inventories, as well as tools such as TDMIS, NDE, CAV, SABAR and SIMS. Duties of the
position include interpreting Shipboard Alteration Drawings, Shipboard Alteration Requests, Engineering Change Orders,
ILS Certifications, SPIDER installation matrix entries, and US Navy C4I system baseline data to prepare CDMD-OA
Work files for upcoming installations. Duties will also include analyzing Customer requests for ILS Packages to determine
SCLSIS and VALAID requirements, pulling data from CDMD-OA for ILS package preparation, analyzing system fielding
plans to forecast future requirements, and responding to emergent requests for logistics installation data from customers
and fleet users. The ability to exercise independent judgment while working on multiple projects of diverse scope will be
key to successful performance of the task requirements associated with this position. This position involves direct contact
with customers and fleet users, and demands performance that is both detail oriented and time critical.
Required Skills: Familiarity with NDE, CDMD-OA, SCLSIS, Navy Fleet installation processes, NNSY installation procedures.
Desired Skills: Supervisory or Technical Lead experience
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or 4 years’ experience in lieu a degree. 6+ years related experience.
