JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate will function as an integral member of a team of Government, military, and contractor personnel that provide program, engineering and technical support to NAVAIR Pax River and NSWC Dahlgren for Navy/Joint Unmanned programs. The team will provide program, research, engineering, logistics, and technical support for unmanned air, surface/subsurface and ground platform operations, test and evaluation, and development. Sr. Systems Analysts will support architecture development, system design and engineering, testing and evaluation for systems, platform and information engineering projects. Candidate will work with various contractors, military, and Government personnel to provide research, and technical assistance to support systems engineering tasks through all phases of Unmanned Systems (US) programs including science and technology, system concept, development, implementation, integration, advance development, developmental and operational T&E, contingency and fleet support. He/She will participate in IPTs and Working Groups, develop and review technical program plans and documents, and support risk and quality programs, to bring unmanned Navy/Joint systems and capabilities to bear in the current maritime environment.
Qualifications
:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: BS in Engineering, Computer Science or Physical Sciences with 10 years experience in engineering and technical analysis applied to Navy/Joint warfighting systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in DoD unmanned systems engineering and supporting analysis, including for the integration of complex systems.
- Experience in systems design, test and evaluation, technical data and design interface, system network optimization, configuration management and total ownership cost support.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment comprised of military, Government and contractor personnel.
- Excellent organizational and analytic skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
- Excellent leadership and verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-motivated and customer-oriented.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Top Secret clearance is a plus.
- Experience with unmanned Navy systems is highly desired.
- Maritime systems development skills and experience in unmanned programs ishighly desired.
- Experience with integrated data bases and SharePoint.
- Experience in technical writing and editing is a plus.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Active DoD Secret clearance is required. Top Secret is a plus.
