Software Engineer (Job Number:402230)
Description:
The Software Engineer will participate in and provide support for the design, build, and implementation of system changes as well as participating in the maintenance of all processes and functions currently performed by the related systems. They will also perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and prepare system documentation and program specifications. The Software Engineer will have experience with Visual C++, .Net Framework and Java. Understanding APC PowerChute, Tivoli Monitoring Agent, NiceVision and Cisco ISO Software would be a plus.
Qualifications

Required Experience:
- 12 years of demonstrated experience in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design and documentation preparation.
- 10 years must be intensive and progressive experience in managing the implementation of information engineering projects; systems analysis, design and programming; client/server environments; and as specified in the task.
- Managerial and leadership skills must be proven as well as exceptional written and oral communications skills demonstrated (i.e., including providing formal presentations to diverse audiences).
- *MUST PASS A NATIONAL AGENCY CHECK**
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline is required. Four (4) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
