Description:
SAIC has a contingent job opening for an Information Security Analyst. This position is located in Omaha, NE.
The Information Security Analyst will:
- Maintain a log of Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and post on the Command Information Assurance (IA) SharePoint site.
- repare and submit all required security requests and documentation that pertain to experiments as well as day to day operations such as: Interim Approval to Test (IATT), System Information Profile (SIP), and System Change Request (SCR) for software that will be used in the TIF.
- rform duties as the TE2S Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) ensuring all enclave information systems are functional and secure. Contractor shall determine enclaves’ long-term IA systems needs and acquisition requirements to accomplish operational objectives.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of IA policies and procedures reflecting the legislative intent of applicable laws and regulations for the information systems.
- Evaluate security architectures and designs, and provide input as to the adequacy of security designs and architectures proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents.
Qualifications:
Basic Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. In addition to educational requirement, a minimum of five (5) years related experience.
Personnel assigned to support this task shall possess qualifications for DoD 8570 IAM Level II.
- Possess experience at analyzing and defining Information Assurance security requirements for systems at multiple security levels, and designing, developing, engineering, and implementing solutions to facilitate those system requirements.
- Possess experience in analysis of hardware and software performance tuning (e.g. VM Ware), analyzing workload and computer usage, maintaining interfaces with outside systems (e.g. cat A environment), analyzing downtimes, analyzing proposed system modifications and upgrades. Possess experience in developing, in conjunction with functional users, system alternative solutions.
- Possess experience in configuration management planning, identifying and maintaining the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, software, and related documentation. Possess experience supporting the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software.
- Possess experience with requirements analysis, feasibility analysis, regulatory compliance support, and technology conceptual designs.
- Possess experience with a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems including integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems. Possess experience in applying analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning. Possess knowledge with 5+ years of experience relating to LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, network protocols, and other security and network operations and monitoring, and vulnerability analysis.
