Application Developer (Job Number:400002)
Description:
The HRC ETSO Program will maintain, enhance and develop the U.S Army Human Resources Command (HRC), U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC), U.S. Army Cadet Command (USACC), Army Marketing and Research Group (ARMG), and Accessions Support Brigade (ASB) IT (Information Technology) systems, programs, applications, and databases vital to managing the Army’s personnel, in peacetime and at war.
To provide technical support for the Army Partnering for Youth Success Program (PaYS), a recruiting initiative developed to appeal to young people interest in obtaining a quality civilian job after serving in the Army, SAIC is looking for experienced application designers, developers, and application subject matter experts with Army information systems experience and ideally experience with the PaYS program.
Description of Duties: Modifies procedures and/or develop code to solve complex problems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs to support the application. Ability to interface with multiple teams to ensure application deployments and changes to architecture integrated within the enterprise. Knowledge of database design and management.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field and 1+ years experience.
Experience should include: EJB2.0 Spring Framework, JAVA, SQL Developer, NetBeans, Weblogic.
