SAIC has a job opening for a Senior Systems Engineer to work at our facility in San Diego, CA
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Systems Engineer will provide technical leadership for an integrated engineering team with the competency, capacity and capability to provide the full range of program management and engineering support services to assist and support the MIDS Program Office to carry out its duties and responsibilities to deliver MIDS LVT and MIDS JTRS terminals and associated services to its customers. Areas of responsibility include configuration management, data management, engineering, T&E, and logistics. Effectively manage the expertise, skill sets, and experience that support the MIDS Program Office’s ability to respond to DoD, International, SPAWAR, JPEO JTRS, Joint, Allied and Coalition requirements.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or scientific disclipline required; Master's degree strongly preferred. Minimum of 10 years general engineering experience.
- 4 years of experience leading a multi-disciplined technical team
- 8 years of experience in DoD acquisition programs
- 4 years of experience in engineering of Link 16 terminals
- Familiarity with SPAWAR system engineering practices and principles
Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
