Description:
SAIC is currently looking for Mobile Communication Training Specialists in Washington, DC. The Department of State is implementing a new mobile solution, XenMobile, that will offer the Department further flexibility in the mobile space. The dedicated Communications and Training Specialist for this effort will be responsible for supporting the pilot and worldwide deployment of XenMobile. The individual will develop the design and lead the execution efforts of an IRM communications plan for XenMobile with a customer focus and customer outreach approach.
The individual shall work closely with the XenMobile Project Manager and the team supporting the overall effort to ensure that products and services are in consonance with the overall project plan, to meet the intended goals and generate the desired results of the project. This approach shall be followed from initiation throughout the life of the XenMobile project.
The Communications and Training Specialist will be responsible for, among others, the following key deliverables: content to support Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document(s); user guides; activation procedures for iPhones, iPads, or other approved mobile devices; procedures for ordering mobile devices; and procedures for exchanging old mobile devices with either an iPhone, Ipad, or other mobile devices. The individual shall have a good understanding of the overall project and the plan in order to develop relevant, effective, current ,and useful written products that are practical, easy-to-read/understand, succinct, and on-target with the intended audience. The Communications and Training Specialist shall also perform the following: coordinate customer facing and enterprise level messages (e.g., notifications, emails, webpage links, procedures, etc.) with IRM senior management, the Customer Liaison Division, the eDiplomacy Branch to ensure messaging associate with mobile devices is appropriate for the intended audience and reaches the widest audience deemed necessary; disseminate communications products to Department of State (DoS) organizations and users; monitor all XenMobile project communications; collect and collate feedback from DoS organizations and users, and provide the collated results to IRM/OPS/MSO/MRA; design, develop, operate and maintain a Mobile Devices SharePoint site that will be customer facing.
The individual shall develop a Mobile Device Training Plan for submission to the Government for approval; provide training tutorial videos on how to activate iPhones, Ipads or other mobile devices. The individual shall ensure consistent framing of messages and communication products, and, also update any outdated documents or other products to make them current and relevant.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (or 4 years of relevant hands on experience) in related discipline such as Business Communications or Mass Media, and, in depth, as well as, demonstrated skills in written communications, documentation, standard operating procedures, user guides, and similar products to clearly disseminate relevant information, increase user awareness and provide relevant training materials. Must possess at least five (5) – seven (7) + years of direct experience . Minimum of five (5) years experience and practical knowledge in supporting large-scale IT systems migration and/or deployment. Extremely strong, proficient and demonstrated oral and written communication skills with experience working effectively with senior management officials, project management team members, and technical staff members regarding communication and training issues. Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables, and exceptional attention to details. Ability to focus on delivery of products and services on time.
Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance. US citizenship required.
Desired Skills:
