SAIC is seeking a Functional Change Management Analyst to provide Change Management support for DHS. This position is located in Washington, D.C. The Change Management Analyst shall oversee and provide governance for Change Requests; the Analyst will establish procedures for the submission, review and authorization of Change Requests. Working with change control and change advisory boards the Analyst will coordinate stakeholder communication for effective management and control of changes. The Change Analyst will be responsible for identifying authoritative approvers for the Change Request. Major responsibility includes verifying that changes are planned, engineered, tested and approved prior to their implementation in any USCIS system or infrastructure component. The Analyst will work in Remedy, the Change Management Tool, to track all IT solutions and CRs that impact the USCIS systems and operating environment. The Analyst will help determine configuration items and environments which require change control, in support of the DHS change process and policy integration. The Change Management Analyst will be responsible for performing administrative functions. Detailed activities include: Ensuring that all CRs are to be reviewed and have the appropriate documentation and/or pre- requisites. Obtaining the appropriate signatures and/or e-mail approvals on all required decisions, updating documentation, publishing and distributing meeting minutes, and decision memos. Tracking the CR status and action items and updating the appropriate CRs in the Change Management Tool, Remedy. Monitor and report on Remedy tickets in queues supported through the SETI contract. Support the SETI Operations team by tracking closure of tickets against mutually agreed-on resolution goals based on priority. Facilitate incident resolution by monitoring, reviewing and assigning tickets to the appropriate support team, gathering information on outages and events impacting users, and updating service tickets throughout the resolution process in order to provide the customer with feedback and/or resolution information as needed. Provide technical expertise appropriate for analyzing delayed tickets and ensuring that the required support function is correctly assigned for resolution. Must have sound problem solving, prioritization, and time management skills - Must be able to work with technical and user staff in a technical role on their projects.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum of 5 years of experience using the Remedy product and/or using report generation and analysis tools. US Citizenship and ability to receive and maintain a Public Trust clearance or an active DOD Secret Clearance.
