SAIC is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer in Quantico, VA.
Description:
Ability to support development and implementation of network system requirements, specifications, designs, integration, testing, and documentation. Skilled at performing analysis of alternatives for network and security solutions to identify the best technologies and methods. Proven engineer able to produce architecture, logical, and usable diagrams. Performs design, installation, troubleshooting, and support of local- and wide-area network hardware, software and applications. Familiar with virtual network architectures and technologies. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to advocate for network requirements while meeting data center performance standards. Develops network risk management and mitigation strategy.

Required Educational Background
BA/BS required. CCNA required, CCNP desired.
IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP) desired.
Required Experience:Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, FortiNet, and Splunk technologies.
Minimum/General Experience: 10 years of Network design and management experience, particularly on complex applications involving all phases of network design, implementation, and analysis. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in virtualized networks and network automation. Familiarity with networking aspects of multi-center application failover and replication requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility.
