Description:
Conduct research into various approaches to assessment of building partner capacity and security cooperation programs.
Attend meetings with various Department of Defense and other US Government agencies.
Participate in overseas visits to foreign military or maritime security forces to assess the effectiveness of programs.
Prepare project reports and in-progress review briefings to OSD, Combatant Command (COCOM), and US Embassy personnel related to the conduct of assessments and specialized aspects of rotary-wing aviation programs.
Qualifications
:
CE must havemore than 10 years’ experience in military rotary-wing aviation units, preferablyArmy or Marine Corps combat aviation units, such as air assault lift (e.g.,Blackhawk or similar tactical lift aircraft), air cavalry (e.g., Kiowa orsimilar reconnaissance aircraft), or air attack units, e.g., Apache or Cobraattack aircraft. Completion of ServiceCommand and Staff College education preferred. Prior experience as a staff officer at Division or higher level desired.
