SAIC is looking for a Site Support Specialist to support our team in the Navy & Marine Corp Customer Group for our Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKO) Program located in Okinawa Japan.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The SKO Site Support Specialist will provide support to the SKO program in Training, Logistics Support, Inventory Asset/Management, and Supply Chain Management.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide customer service representation, during normal Government working hours which are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and via cell phone during Government non-working hours, on a 24-hour per day, seven day a week basis. Support all aspects of SKO operations. Maintain certifications as required, provide training support, coordinate training schedule, provide after action reports, perform liaison with supported units, perform training gap analysis, identify training requirements, coordinate training plan, perform training market research, provide subject matter expertise, determine training deficiencies, coordinate annual maintenance and inventories, complete inventory adjustment, track expenditures, complete repairs and maintenance, conducts “on-the-job training, perform goods receipts, complete equipment inspection, complete annual maintenance revisions, process form DD250, perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, and complete of operational checks of equipment, and perform required equipment calibrations.
Qualifications

BASIC EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or four (4) years of directly related experience in lieu of degree. Strong written and oral communications skills are paramount; must demonstrate successful experience writing documents of a technical nature, and developing/ presenting technical briefings. Due to Government Contract Regulations, US Citizenship and the ability to acquire and maintain a Secret clearance is required. Candidate should be capable of working independently and within a group associated with providing support to both internal and external customers associated with the SKO program. Must be proficient in word processing, electronic spreadsheet, and workstation tools.
