JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is a senior logistician for our NSWC Crane customer and their
USSOCOM Sponsor and has the following requirements: Candidate will provide sr. logistic management support related to Life Cycle sustainment to include fielding and sparing, cost support and task analyses, provisioning, cataloging, maintenance planning/management, supply support, PHS&T, support equipment, sustaining engineering, technical data management and training/training support. Support that includes: The position will require the candidate to provide Maintenance Planning/Task Analyses/cataloging, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and Maintenance Data Collection support for small arms weapons systems, subsystems, equipment and components specified herein. Candidate will be responsible for providing all planning, analysis and collected data as indicated in the LCSP/ILSP and CMP for Government approval. Position requires the ability to develop and prepare program reports, briefing materials, photographs and test/demonstration/feasibility portfolios including draft and final versions unique to this program and submit final versions for Government approval. Candidate will provide Technical Documentation support in areas of Technical Manuals (TMs), Depot Maintenance Work Requirements (DMWR)/Intermediate MWR (IMWR) following all Integrated Product Support (IPS) Technical Data element requirements. Candidate will provide Identification, Status Accounting, Configuration Control and Audit support for small arms weapons systems, subsystems, equipment and components and provide data support for the Government for small arms weapons systems, subsystems, equipment and components specified herein to support registry, testing, maintenance, overhaul, and engineering, fielding and sparing. This shall include Item Unique Identification (IUID) markings and plans. All support shall be IAW guidance provided as Government Information. Change recommendations shall be reported as indicated in the LCSP/ILSP and CMP. Candidate will also provide Life Cycle Support that includes: Cost/quality/schedule tracking for reporting to the customer, customer report preparation for technical and financial status, Information Assurance (IA) compliant systems and/or services needed unique to this work tasking, physical and information security support unique to this tasking, safety support unique to this work tasking, process documentation unique to this work tasking, application of continuous improvement methods to the processes used in performing this specific tasking, ensuring compliance in all areas for unique work tasking requirements which may include:
a. Maintains statistical data of weapon and mount replacement parts.
b. Coordinates packaging and shipping of parts, tools, gauges, and ancillary equipment to components as required.
c. Provides inventory management and receipt inspection to support small arms and mounts. A complete list of tools, parts, and supplies can be provided upon request.
d. Retrieval of weapons and mounts from storage for inspection and maintenance.
e. Tracks incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
f. Responds to inventory, shipping and receiving questions from users on in-service weapons.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelors Degree and five years experience
Experience background required: Helpful experience in Integrated Master Scheduling and PSM support. Documentation: Life Cycle Cost Estimating (LCCE), Life Cycle Sustainment Management Plans (LCSMPs) and planning; Level of Repair Analyses (LORAs); Logistics Supportability Analyses (LSAs); Total Ownership Costs (TOCs); IUID markings and plans; AELs/APLs; Operators/Technical Manuals.
