The DoD Agencies and Commands Customer Group, COCOM Programs Directorate of SAIC currently has a contingency full-time position for a Cyber Exercise Training Data Analyst to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) J7, Fort Meade, Maryland

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the CYBERCOM J7 in their mission to plan, host, execute, and evaluate cyber related exercises, table top exercises (TTX) and wargames annually. This work includes Cyber Exercise preparation and evaluation support to include role players to simulate exercise white cell requirements i.e., external agencies, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), etc., and serve as part of Joint Exercise control Group (JECG) providing technical oversight of the MSEL flow, responding to requests for information from the training audience, and generating dynamic MSELs as necessary to ensure the training audience meets the training objectives. This work will also quickly and easily structure resources to satisfy a robust exercise schedule and execute those resources to satisfy the totality of cyber exercise requirements for USCYBERCOM.

Qualifications

:
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- 7+ years of experience performing cyber exercise execution support including exercise role players, exercise network support and data capture and reporting; and cyber wargame and Table Top Exercise (TTX) support.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to design, plan, execute and assess DoD cyber exercises, TTXs and Wargames using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle.
- Demonstrated experience in After Action Reporting, developing Lessons Learned and capturing exercise artifacts.
- Significant experience on or in support of a major staff, i.e.; Joint Staff or CCMD staff.

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

- Experience as a role player to simulate exercise white cell requirements i.e., external agencies, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), etc. as part of the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) providing technical oversight of the MSEL flow, responding to requests for information from the training audience, and generating dynamic MSELs as necessary to ensure the training audience meets the training objectives.
- Ability to support the set-up and operation of the local exercise network infrastructure when required.
- Ability to document exercise artifacts into an exercise report for reconstruction and future exercise planning for Lessons Learned, Top Performers/Awards/Trophy Presentation Scripts, Data from player network (XNET) for archive, and Working files from local networks.
- Experience with analyzing exercise results to support the development of lessons learned and After-Action Reports after the completion of an exercise.
- Ability to develop briefing products which include briefing material, administrative, and logistics support.
- Ability to draft inputs for the AAR that analyzes all facets of the exercises throughout the JELC to include Joint Lessons Learned Information System entries; overviews of Blue cyber operations activities; and white cell operations. The contractor shall draft initial AAR from consolidated inputs.
- Ability to produce detailed reports for exercise artifacts, After Action Meeting Briefings, After Action Meeting Minutes, and AAR Initial Draft.
- Experience in support of CYBER Knight, CYBER Flag, CYBER Guard, and CYBER Wargames and Table Top Exercises (TTX).
- Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively, including public speaking, and briefing senior officers.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

EDUCATION:

BS/MS Cyberspace or Information Assurance (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree).
Travel:

Must be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of the contract

SECURITY:

- Must have and maintain an active Top Secret/ SCI clearance and in scope successful Counter Intelligence (CI) Polygraph
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
