SAIC is seeking a Business Process Consultant in New Carrollton, MD.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Provide support activities for project requirements development and management activities.
- Work closely with project members to analyze, discern, and organize existing documentation into processes, requirements, business rules, and design specifications.
- Facilitate gathering requirements-related information and create new documentation according to established IRS standards.
- Load requirements-related information in to one or more repositories according to established IRS repository standards.
- Train, coach, and mentor project members in IRS established requirements engineering methodologies.
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Education
- US Citizen with the ability to get a Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 5+ years related experience.
- Well organized, self-starter who can work somewhat independently, and is detail oriented.
- Strong in requirements development and management principles
- Knowledge and experience supporting full software life cycle developments projects
- Must be able to clearly communicate complex methodologies, have strong communication and writing skills, quickly learn new applications, and assimilate written information.
Desired Experience and Education
- Business Rule development, Process Modeling, and/or Use Case development is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Agile or Iteration development is desirable
- Working knowledge of Configuration Management principles
- Experience with RequisitePro is desirable.
