Architecture Manager (Job Number:407501)
Description:
SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for an Architecture Manager. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.
The Architecture Manager will update, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software for a Python-based web application which has both a user-facing front end as well as a multi-data-sourced back end. The software developed shall serve as a tool to automate the functions of IT Management. The developed software shall aggregate data from multiple sources to include HBSS, ACAS, LDAP, Active Directory, Puppet, and various other data sources. Create intuitive, web- based interfaces utilizing technologies and frameworks including but not limited to: HTML, BootStrap, highcharts.js, and Jinja2. Install, manage, and utilize a distributed version control system (e.g. Mercurial), Issue tracker (e.g. RedMine), PyPiServer, and other development support tools. Host web applications using nGinx.
Create and maintain developer- and user-level artifacts including software version documents, software requirement documentation, software developer documentation, deployment guides, and user guides. Interact with users, extracting user needs and requirements, and translate that into software specifications and designs that may be efficiently decomposed and implemented. Work in an agile environment. Develop and maintain application programming interfaces (API) to systems.
Qualifications:
Basic Education, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution (or 4 years exp in lieu of) plus a minimum of five (8) years of relevant work experience to include the areas listed below, Five (5) years of demonstrated experience and expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting virtualized systems, virtualized networks, and enterprise-level hypervisors in a DoD environment. Demonstrated knowledge of Security Compliance Automation Protocol (OpenSCAP) and SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC).
Active Secret Clearance.
Two (2) years of demonstrated enterprise level experience in all of the following:
a. Administering Windows Server 2008 or later with DoD PKI and STIG implementation
b. Administering Red Hat Linux 5 servers or later with DoD PKI and STIG implementation
c. Managing Red Hat Network Satellite services
d. Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Puppet Labs automation software
In addition to relevant work experience, this position requires the following certifications:
One (1) of the following commercial certifications:
a. CompTIA Security + (SY0-301)
b. International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
c. CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
d. Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
e. ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
f. Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)
