JOB DESCRIPTION:
The selected candidate will provide overall network support for a broad range of programs that support NSWC Crane customer. Candidate will be planning, designing, and evaluating various components of C4ISR networks and systems. Candidate will evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current system capabilities. Candidate should have complete knowledge of this administrative field for systems networks and the ability to complete difficult
and complex assignments. Candidate will perform Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements.
Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience: Two year degree in Computer Information Systems & 5 plus year’s experience working with IT networking
Desired Skills: Hands on with network infrastructure platforms: Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Curtiss-Wright, Dell, Netgear, Motorola Point-to-Point radios, and Hewlett-Packard. Proficientwith Microsoft Windows XP and 7, multiple Linux distributions (Red Hat, Ubuntu, Backtrack), Microsoft Server 2003 and 2008, Active Directory environments, Microsoft SharePoint, Hyper-V, IIS, Symantec Backup Exec, Microsoft Office, Deltek, and Wordpress environments
