Senior SharePoint Developer (Job Number:405488)
Description:
SAIC is currently seeking IT certified professionals with deep knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 for the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES (ITSS) II Contract at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate should have a passion for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications.
Duties:
Responsible for designing, building and maintaining enterprise applications on the SharePoint 2010/2013 platforms.
Participates in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, peer reviews, unit and integration testing. Assumes accountability for ensuring efficient and high quality software deliverables.
Passion for troubleshooting code written and provided from a number of sources, sometimes involving SharePoint third party tools such as Bamboo and Nintex.
Familiar with DISA application development STIGs and well versed in DOD information assurance policies and regulations.
Proficient with performing both manual and tool assisted code reviews for security compliance, software development best practices, and performance. Ability to optimize new and existing code for performance.
Extends and augments the SharePoint platform using Microsoft .NET development, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Uses SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) to create interactive, tabular, graphical, or free-form reports from relational, multidimensional, or XML-based data sources.
Strong customer focus and teamwork skills required. Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines. Ability to innovatively solve technical issues and work through organizational challenges by thinking out of the box.

- BS degree and 8+ years of experience. 4 more years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Active Security Clearance
- Security+ Certification
- Atleast one Microsoft SharePoint Certification (MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, MCSA, or MCSE).
Technical Skill Requirements
- SharePoint (2010, 2013), InfoPath, IIS, .NET, MS SQL Server, Access, Windows Server
- Experience with SQL SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Software development experience including website design and development using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, JAVA Script, JQuery, Web Services, etc.
