IAMD BM/ C4I Software Engineer (Job Number:405963)
Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate will work on a complex and advanced integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) command and control program for the US Army. This position will involve evaluations of various software development products as managed by a Government Project Office. The work covers assessments of software products through all phases of software development life cycle, including software specifications, software design, software coding, and software testing.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years related experience. Advanced degree in related technical field desired.
- **Experience with Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Battle Management Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (BMC4I) with a particular focus on engagement operations required***
Candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in C++ or other Object Oriented languages. Candidates must have experience with engagement operations including planning, execution and monitoring. Background with multiple BM/C4I systems is desired.
Candidates with >10 years of software development experience are preferred. Enthusiasm is important, and ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment will be key for the successful candidate. Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
