Intelligence Analyst II (Job Number:402556)
Description:
SAIC is looking for a SME Intel. Analyst in the Ft. Belvoir area. This candidate provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI) to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.). Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the senior leadership as well.
This SME must have knowledge of the Intelligence Community (IC). Have experience utilizing analytical research tools, resources, associated equipment and software (i.e. Tripwire Analytical capability (TAC), WISE, MIDB, M3, Intelink, etc).
Other requirements:
1. Have knowledge of joint and combined operation planning and intelligence methodologies (Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE))
2. Have knowledge fo the basics of Nuclear Biological, Chemical (NBC) weapons design, transportation, storage and use by state and non-state actors
3. Have knowledge of the doctrine for use, command and control (C2), and security of NBC weapons and employment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent formal military training and 4+ years of related experience.
