Trouble Ticketing Dispatcher (Job Number:406226)
Description:
SAIC has an opening for a Trouble Ticket Dispatcher (TTD) to become part of our IT support team. The selected candidate must have a strong customer focus and great attention to detail. The individual must be extremely organized and demonstrate the ability to work well in a team environment. The TTD will serve as the primary interface between the help desk and the other members of the support team. The TTD will interface with customers to assist/handle service inquires and the resolution of problems, facilitate and follow established procedures for assisting technical staff and customer in receiving warranty repairs for computers or servers as well as replacement parts. The role of the TTD will be to create and dispatch/route tickets to the other support teams, monitor work queues and order parts and supplies for the customers and other team members. The TTD may also provide administration assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma (or equivalent GED) and 2 years of related experience. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and demonstrate able to work both independently as well as on a team. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail and be process focused and interested in identifying and implementing improvements to our administrative processes. Candidate must have experience using Microsoft Office applications.
The ideal candidate will possess active DOE L/ Q or DOD S/TS clearance. In the candidate does not have an active security clearance the candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q clearance. Inability to obtain a DOE clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Candidate must be able to carry and lift up to 40 lbs. Candidate will be required to walk distances between customer buildings and is possible this may require up to 1-2 miles each day.
Previous dispatching experience as well as use of the Remedy trouble ticket tracking system is highly desired.
