SAIC is looking for aSoftware Test Engineer to join the team!
The candidate for this position will test Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) simulation software in support of the Joint Technology Center / Systems Integration Lab (JSIL). The candidate is responsible for integration and testing of software builds, coordinate test events, and define processes and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of products. Duties include configuring, testing, evaluating and troubleshooting system software, and hardware. The candidate will also be required to write and execute test plans, procedures, test scripts and reports. The candidate will set up test environments and performing testing of new builds, patches and capabilities. The candidate will be expected to analyze functional requirements of application capabilities for
testability and completeness. The candidate will be working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment with a rapidly evolving software product in the exciting field of unmanned systems simulation. The candidate must be self-motivated, reliable, dependable, flexible, and have excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school education or equivalent and 7+ years technical training or equivalent.
