Description:



The individual will be responsible for such tasks as developing, implementing and/or maintaining one, or a combination of financial systems. The individual will use financial practices and procedures in resolving problems and preparing recommendations for management based on the financial results of the program. The individual will work on assignments moderately difficult and complex in scope, and will interact daily with supervisor, peer groups, and customers; the interaction will normally involve exchange, and/or presentation of factual information.

The individual will also be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the actions taken by an organization to execute a specific piece of business. The individual will integrate all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet customer requirements, and plan and implement actions by the program/project team to define and implement technical baseline and meet quality requirements for project/program products and services.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree desired. High school education or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience required.

Experience with Navy Financial Systems Desired

- Naval Information Dominance Approval System (NAV-IDAS): IT Procurement Review
- PBIS-IT (Budget and Execution Subsystem): IT Budget

Required Skills:

- Business and technical analytical skills

- Knowledge of types and use of Government funds, as well as knowledge of the NUWCDIVNPT procurement, contractual, and financial processes.

- Ability to perform financial analysis

- Perform research and analyses of operational and administrative policy methods

- Ability to work on multiple tasks with changing deadlines and priorities

- Excellent complex problem solving skills

- Ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers
