Program Manager (Job Number:405295)
Description:
Candidate will serve as the overall on-site lead manager and administrator for a three year contract effort ($45M Seaport-e contract) for the program management, technical, and logistics teams supporting the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATC&LS) Division (AIR 4.5.8), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), at Webster Field in St. Inigoes, MD. He/She will provide management and technical oversight for all support activities related to USN, USMC, and USAF programs covered under this contract; responsible for supervising approximately 80 employees. Will serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and the representatives on project and contract administration issues. He/She will supervise program/project operation by developing management procedures and controls, planning and directing project execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. Will manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources. Candidate will manage and control financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements. He/She will direct contract team personnel, manage cost and schedule, and ensure contract compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or an Engineering discipline and ten (10) years of experience in progressive experience in engineering management and supervision of multiple projects relating to the design, development, integration, testing, and fielding of telecommunications and related C-E systems are required.
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Navy/Marine Corps ATC&LS experience; specifically in ACLS.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
