Configuration Analyst III (Job Number:405243)
Description:
Software configuration will be responsible for maintaining all IA related tasks for DJC2 and NETC2 programs such as:
- Update folders on NAS CM rack
- Update Engine and dat file for retina
- Retina scan all servers and clients, produce reports, and evaluate findings
- Gold Disk scan Servers and clients, produce reports and evaluate findings
- Perform software audits on servers and clients
- Create worksheet checklist for patch needs
- Sync SUS with Microsoft
- Pull manual patches and get SME input
- Create data CD for COCOMs
- Sync SSA SUS to CM rack SUS and pull KBs
- Answer all shields
- Rescan servers and clients to verify fixes
- Conduct testing to validate functionality
- Create client images -- Backup servers to FAS 2020 and create two backups to ix2 and ix4
- Put artifacts on DVD for storage
- Provide support to all COCOMS
- Travel to onsite locations to provide expertise in patching, server production, and training
- Correct generated trouble tickets providing step- by-step instruction
- HBSS server certified
- provide bi-monthly super-data updates -
- Uninstall/Install agents as required - DOSC assistant -- Provide manning support as required to manage short falls - Maintain DISA IA security requirements
- COMPTIA Security Plus certified
- DISA HBSS certified - Testing Official
- Provide testing as required to augment personnel shortage Prefer candidate to know or be familiar with most of the below; Performing IA through patch management to six enclaves Create SCR’s Retina Scanning Create Data CD’s Wide Area Network (WAN) protocols DOD Network Security SAN Switches Various Cisco Switches CENTRIXS Firewalls, Intrusion Detectors and Network Analyzers GCCS-J Internet KG-250x STE Microsoft Structured Query Language 2000, 2005, 2008 R2 Net Admin Network Management System (MNS) NIPRNET SIPRNET Red Hat Linux Debian Linux UNIX Operating System Whats Up Windows xp, 7, 2000, 2003, 2008 R2

- Required: CompTIA Security+ (Certifications)
