JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Task Manager will be supporting the NIEF organization at SSC-PAC, which is a very high-paced and dynamic organization. This environment will require the Project Manager to multi-task across multipleactive tasks simultaneously. The ability to establish a credible relationship with customers and sponsors is essential as this position requires daily customer interaction.
The PM will be responsible for:
· Managing the implementation of specific government tasking for shipboard, airborne,submarine, and land based NAVY communications equipment and systems on NIEFIDIQ contracts.
· Planning,coordinating, and managing the actions taken by a multi-functional team to execute tasks to support SPAWAR Systems Center – Pacific programs and sponsors and manage activities necessary to meet the task requirements.
· Planning and implementing actions by the program/project team to define and implement technical baseline and meet quality requirements for project/program products and services.
· Directing project team personnel, managing cost and schedule, ensuring contract compliance.
· Serving as customer interface
· Working with various functional area managers to develop task order estimates, quotes,schedules and staffing requirements.
Task status reporting to the NIEF facility manager,division manager, and operations manager will be required.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
5+ yrs experience managing projects/tasks in an IDIQ Govt contracts environment with a proven record of project management success.
Intimate knowledge and program experience related to one or more of the following SSC-PAC PMW-160 programs: ADNS, ISNS, CANES, CENTRIXS-M, JTT, JHVS, SCI.
Candidates must be familiar with Project Management Professional (PMP) concepts and techniques related to task initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing.
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project essential. Experience using CMPro product lifecycle management software required.
- ** Exceptional oral and written communications skills required.
