ORDNANCE INVENTORY SUPERVISOR job available at NSWC CRANE, IN.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ordnance Inventory Supervisor will act as Team Lead for other 7-10 personnel within the ordnance shipping/receiving facilities at NSWC Crane. Primary job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Planning work to be accomplished, setting priorities and preparing schedules for completion of work for 60 ordnance magazines and receiving/issuing approximately 3,000 receipts/shipments per year.
- Maintaining facilities for maximum space utilization and ensure that all requirements for security and safety are followed.
- Ensuring inventory accuracy in NSWC Crane Code JXRPL magazines.
- Ensuring ordnance material received, segregated, stored, tested, maintained and issued by NSWC Crane Code JXRPL is completed safely and within schedule.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and at least three (3+) years of related experience are desired. High School diploma or GED and at least seven (7+) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Familiaritry with OPNAVINST 5530.13 series of regulations regarding security risk of all ordnance items controlled by NSWC Crane Code JXRPL.
- Working understanding of OP-5.
- Management and materials/supply scheduling skills.
- Knowledge of explosives shipping/receipting and safe storage procedures.
- Ability to pass physical for CDL level requirements and must be able to obtain explosive certification.

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Familiar with computer systems and optical scanning equipment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or facilities.
