SAIC has a job opportunity for a Business Analyst. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.
The SAIC Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for bringing together the various functional and technical components of a project to ensure team and customer awareness and understanding of solution design options/impacts. The BA will be expected to facilitate project workshops as needed and work closely with the functional and technical teams as needed. To be successful in this role, the BA will work closely with the customer, end-user, and project team members to create both system requirements and testing/assurance artifacts (Business Process Themes, Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test Plans) in support of project objectives. The BA is expected to create documentation for custom development objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms, and workflow. In addition, the BA is responsible for ensuring that requirements and tests are documented and executed in accordance with NEACC SDLC processes and standards.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4+ years experience.
Strong understanding of the Agile Scrum process, to include capability to perform in the role of Scrum Master. Ability to work closely with the Scrum Product owner to define priorities and refine the product backlog. Strong communication skills, including the ability to interface with multiple individuals at all levels in the organization. Capability to manage testing efforts, including defect management in the Sprint and Integration Testing cycles. Ability to manage (create, improve, modify) requirements and test documentation (Business Process Themes, Epics, User Stories, Conditions of Satisfaction, and Test Plans) in accordance with organization quality standards and models. Strong understanding of testing coverage of project/operational requirements and metrics development. Coordination and creation of test schedules which includes working with end-users to perform User Acceptance Testing. Facilitation of regression testing which includes common objects of the new release (production changes) with the current production environment. Ability to create test plans, group test plans into test sets, and link them to the relevant requirements.
Knowledge of the following technologies/applications is preferred:
Working knowledge of Identity, Credential, and Access Management processes, regulations, and concepts, supporting the creation of automated test scripts for commonly used business transactions across enterprise application
Knowledge of enterprise applications and role they perform in the enterprise (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc)
HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Quality Center
Microsoft Visio (or equivalent process modeler)
All Microsoft Office suite of applications
