JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides the strategic and operational leadership for all existing and new business development activities for the organizational unit with primary focus on state and local government in Southern California. Responsible for representing the capabilities of the organizational unit and is accountable for new business results. Ensures strong customer affinity to advance the company's understanding of each customer's needs. Must have comprehensive knowledge of this field. Must have good analytical, strategic, and reasoning skills and the ability to analyze and make presentations in the resolution of problems. Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively (orally and in writing), both internally, with technical staff, peers, management and customers.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance is required. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Education and Experience: 10 years of experience in IT BD, Acct Mgt, or Engagement Mgt, preferably with large IT provider.
3-5 years of specific BD Experience in Souther California.
Portions of SAIC to be renamed Leidos, Inc., subject to stockholder approval and consummation of a separation transaction if approved by SAIC board of directors.
