Sr. Information Systems Engineer (Job Number:404267)
Description:
SAIC is looking for a Sr. Information Systems Engineer in the Stuttgart, Germany area.
This candidate will lead efforts and provides expert consultation in the translation of business requirements into IT requirements, designs and acquisition packages. Provide in-depth engineering analysis of IT alternatives for the U.S. Army in support of strategic modernization efforts. Provide telecommunications enhancement designs for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Provide interface support to IT end users, DOIM/NEC personnel, USAISEC, and program management offices. Apply knowledge of engineering and scientific principles, computer technologies, and human cognition to design, implement and manage information systems. The information systems engineer may be called upon to design and develop databases, develop system architectures, establish system standards, integrate an information system with varied data sources and networks, and generally to plan, integrate, design, test or operate information systems.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, computer, or electronics engineering (or closely related curriculum) from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 8+ years of information systems engineering experience in one or more of the following information technologies: OSP inspections to include: excavation, installation, and restoration of grounds for the installation of manholes and duct systems and communications cable installations; or ISP inspections to include: installation of racks/cabinets, equipment hardware, auxiliary power, grounding systems, and other supporting systems as required.
