SAIC is looking for a Technician (Foreign Equipment Maintenance Specialist) in the Huntsville, AL area.
Technician with experience in maintenance, repair and operating of foreign military vehicles and weapons system support equipment (gasoline and diesel powered equipment). Qualifications include: demonstrated ability to perform major repairs such as engine overhaul on threat vehicles without the benefit of repair manuals; demonstrated ability and required Class A Commercial Driver’s license with hazardous material endorsement and doubles/triplicate endorsements to operate truck/tractor vehicles with GVWR in excess of 10 tons; demonstrated ability to operate a wide variety of threat vehicles without benefit of English language training manuals. Demonstrated ability and certified training to operate forklifts and cranes; and training in handling of hazardous materials. SECRET clearance required, TS/SCI preferred.
