Space Training Chief Architect/Engineer (STAO) (Job Number:403680)
Description:
Team SAIC is seeking a full time Space Training Chief Architect/Engineer (STAO) for a highly complex system-engineering task near Los Angeles, CA.
At least 10 years’ experience in leading the primary engineering efforts of appropriately sized (similar to at least Acquisition Category III level) ground system software, hardware, and training programs.
In addition, at least three years’ experience supporting the overall engineering integration of relevant System Engineering and Integration efforts for DoD, other Government Agency or commercial programs or projects of similar scope and complexity.
Extensive domain expertise in Standardized Space Trainer (SST) and SMC mission systems is required.
Understanding and/or experience with on-going SST development efforts is a plus
Understanding and/or experience with on-going AFSCN modernization and sustainment efforts is a plus.
TS/SCI clearance required.
BA in engineering degree required, and MS preferred.
Acquisition/ Requirements experience required;
Previous experience with JCIDS and AFSPC and/or SMC preferred.
Qualifications:
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, MS preferred.
SYSTEMS ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years experience, or 8 years with SE degree or certification. Acquisition/ Requirements Experience required; previous experience with JCIDS and AFSPC and/or SMC preferred.
