Naval Education Training Command (NETC) IT Support Services (Job Number:404730)
Description:
SAIC is currently looking for individuals to fill positions in support of the Naval Education Training Command (NETC) IT Support Services contract.
We are interested in current incumbents and candidates with prior experience supporting NETC, Naval Education Training Professional Development Technology Center (NETPDTC), and/or Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) at any of the NETC Learning Centers and Schools or Training Support Centers. We are seeking local, technical, and systems integration subject matter experts to develop, operate, maintain, and enhance the existing IT capabilities of NETC.
We are looking for qualified professionals in the following fields:
Subject Matter Specialist
Provide high-level functional Information Technology (IT) systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems which require extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
Principle Systems Engineer
Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, networks, CAD or GIS system software, or mathematical/scientific software packages. Engineers highly complex software that may relate directly to operating systems, their performance or devices controlled. Must have IA and CE certifications as required by DOD 7580.01-M if performing IAT or IAM functions.
Sr. Systems Integrator
Leads and participates in highly complex system integration projects. Installs, generates, maintains, tests, debugs, and integrate system software programs with COTS/GOTS applications and support equipment, develops instructions for integration of operating system software, and modifies/maintains integration packages via releases and utilities from manufacturers in a multi-operating system and/or network operating system environment
Systems Integrator
Responsible for applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, networks, CAD or GIS system software, or mathematical/scientific software packages. Administers complex operating systems software such as Unix, Prime, VMS, etc. Administers complex database management software such as Oracle, Sybase, Ingres, etc. Must have IA and CE certifications as required by DOD 7580.01-M if performing IAT or IAM functions.
Lead/Sr. Systems Support Analyst
Reviews requirements, gathers information analyzes data, prepares project synopses, compares alternatives, prepares specifications for programs resolves processing problems, and coordinates work with programmers. Develops complex ad hoc, queries. Uses COTS and GOTS software in performance of duties. Designs and develops user training materials. Independently trains users at various locations or via VTC or Webmeeting.
Customer Service Analyst
Responsible for providing support to end-user community on hardware, software and network related problems, questions, and use. Evaluates, and analyzes data to determine feasible solutions; and implements solution(s) including testing and installation of new or enhanced hardware and software for LAN, LAN related systems, and microcomputers to meet customer requirements.
Lead/Sr. Customer Service Analyst
Responsible for providing in-depth and high level, support to end-user community on hardware, software and network related problems, questions, and use. May provide training and over-site to less experienced personnel. Performs more complex evaluations, and analysis of data to determine feasible solutions; and implements solution(s) including testing and installation of new or enhanced hardware and software for multiple LANs, LAN related systems, and microcomputers to meet customer requirements.
