Filenet Systems Engineer (Job Number:404398)
Description:
The half time position is for maintenance of the IBM Filenet software suite. Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing content, and upgrading the system. IBM ECM components currently in use include: Content Engine, Process Engine, Process Analyzer, Rendition Engine, Records Manager, Application Engine, Workplace, WorkplaceXT, Content Navigator, ICC, eDiscovery Manager, SharePoint Web Parts. Other integrated softwares include: AdLib, Ancept, Crystal Reports. It will include Weblogic and Linux software across multiple servers. The Filenet systems are used by 10,000 to 12,000 users.
The Filenet Systems Engineer duties will include:
- Administers and supports Filenet core components and including sub components.
- Assistance with installation, upgrade, and administration of the IBM FileNet ECM components on Linux, and integrated softwares, that are currently installed or may be added.
- Designs, implements, administers and supports all Filenet systems including the sysetms supporting the application including managing the interfaces with other systems.
- Work closely with customers.
- Upgrades and patches in the production environment will be run during non-business hours, i.e., after 6 p.m. MT or on weekends
- Technical application support staff will be available for consultation during core business hours, i.e., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. MT
- Technical application support will provide initial response to trouble tickets within 30 minutes.
- Provide other technical application support per the instructions of the Technical Lead.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Required Skills
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience (4 years)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience with Filenet with any module(s)
- Experience with Weblogic
- Experience with Linux server support
- Ability to get a DOE L clearance. Candidate can start without clearance.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Java
- Experience with Oracle database management
