Software Engineer (Job Number:404057)
Description:
The Software Engineer should have a strong software development lifecycle background especially with configuration control. The candidate should have experience with firmware and embedded system programming using Visual C++ and will participate in and provide support for the design, build, and implementation of system changes as well as participating in the maintenance of all processes and functions currently performed by the related systems. They will also perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and prepare system documentation and program specifications.
Qualifications

Required Skills:
- Experience with .Net Framework and Java.
- Managerial and leadership skills must be proven as well as exceptional written and oral communications skills demonstrated (i.e., including providing formal presentations to diverse audiences).
Desired Skills:
- Understanding APC PowerChute, Tivoli Monitoring Agent, NiceVision and Cisco ISO Software.
Required Experience and Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline is required. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
- Eight (8) years of demonstrated experience is required in information systems development, functional and data requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, programming, program design and documentation preparation.design and documentation preparation.
- A minimum of six (6) years must be intensive and progressive experience in managing the implementation of information engineering projects; systems analysis, design and programming; client/server environments; and as specified in the task. client/server environments; and as specified in the task.
