Senior C# .Net Developer (Job Number:402684)
Description:
SAIC is looking for Senior Software Engineer who will participate in the design, development, testing and documentation of software systems for Government Agency located in Kansas City. The Software Engineer is expected to have strong development experience with C# .Net Framework, SQL Server and programming skills in Microsoft tools and Frameworks like MVC.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and development of web-based applications
- Maintenance of existing portfolio of applications
- Participation in Agile-based teams
- Thorough communications with team members and SCRUM Masters
Qualifications:
Required Experience and Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of demonstrated experience in information systems development which includes systems analysis and design, programming and documentation.
- Intensive and progressive experience in developing applications using C#, Net and relational database technologies, specifically SQL Server.
- Experience with Microsoft frameworks and tools like VSTS 2010/2013, MVC Framework.
- Should have strong knowledge in system development using Object Oriented Principles and able to design systems using proven architecture patterns/practices.
- - Should have experience in developing applications using JavaScript, JQuery and client side scripting tools and technologies.
- - Experience with Windows Services and Web Services development.
- - Demonstrated Experience with SQL programming.
- - Should participate in Design/Code and System review during Scrum development process.
- Good written and oral communications skills and able to work in a team which consists developers with different skillsets.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with SQL Database services like Reporting Services and Integration Services
- Integration experience with COTS packages like MS Dynamics CRM and SharePoint.
- Experience with Batch processing and ETL processes.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline is required.
- Microsoft Certifications in C#/.Net and SQL Server – preferred.
