SAIC is looking for a Senior Program Manager (PM) to lead a large-scale business process reengineering (BPR) effort for a prestigious federal government client. The program is a multi-year effort that includes multiple work streams, including the analysis and documentation of the current and future state business and legal/regulatory process environments, as well as a comprehensive technical assessment of a large, complex system targeted for modernization.

The Senior PM will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the program and for managing an integrated team of 15-20 persons, made up of business process analysts, legal and regulatory experts and technologists, who will work in functional sub-teams. The candidate will have the ability to work directly with senior-level client executives to define business drivers and ensure that the program objectives deliver the necessary benefits to achieve business success. The candidate will tailor and incrementally adapt mature, pre-defined BPR and technology assessment frameworks to suit specific program needs. The candidate will manage the interdependencies between functional sub-teams to ensure that that work is performed in a coordinated manner and that the team performance is aligned with client business objectives. The candidate will help to facilitate and lead interview sessions ranging between 1 or 2 people, to very large (20+) group multi-hour sessions with a diverse group of participants (various professional backgrounds, seniority and experience, etc.)

The candidate will work closely with the government Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR), government business and technical leadership, other government contractors supporting the program, and SAIC and subcontractor teams. The Senior PM will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program; meeting technical, schedule and financial requirements; supervising subcontractor personnel; managing customer and subcontractor relationships; risk management; and serving as a direct liaison between the SAIC team and the customer. Responsibilities will include complete schedule and financial management, status reporting, and working with SAIC contracts, subcontracts, and project control throughout execution.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of success in leading complex BPR projects/programs that include an information technology component. Outstanding written/verbal communication and relationship building skills are required.

Specific requirements include:
• Experience managing complex Federal Government programs with more than 15 team members
• Ability to quickly understand and document an organization’s cross-functional core business processes through a methodical discovery process
• Proven track record of helping organizations optimize their core workflows and set the organization on a solid process improvement trajectory
• Must be available to work at downtown Washington, DC client location
• The candidate must also be able to pass the client's credit and background check.
• All qualified candidates MUST be able to obtain a clearance prior to starting. The clearance is comparable to a Public Trust level.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS) or a related field
- Minimum of then (10) years of applicable business experience in the field of management consulting and/or information technology
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in process analysis / business process reengineering.
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
