PROJECT ANALYST job available in KANSAS CITY, MO.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Analyst will ensure contract requirements and responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project management and/or planning techniques. His/her program support will include the determination, analysis, and reporting of existing and newly created program performance metrics. Candidate will also facilitate process changes with subject matter experts when indicated by metric scores and trending analysis.

Project Analayst will also support the gathering of required Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) information for monthly program reporting requirements and facilitate identified Corrective Action Plan item resolution. The candidate will facilitate Project Risk Management activities including risk identification, qualitative risk assessment, assist the risk owner with devising viable risk mitigation and contingency plans as well as project risk register updates and reporting.

Project Analyst will also provide accurate capture and production of meeting minutes and facilitate recurring report information gathering from all report resources.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Business Administration or a related field preferred) and at least four (4+) years of operational performance measurement or related experience are required. High School diploma or GED and four (4+) years of additional operational performance measurement or related experience (8+ total) may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirement.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
- Experience with Business Process Improvement methodology and/or Project Risk Management principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of this field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments with only limited instruction.
- Excellent analytical, communication and presentations skills, as well as the ability to operate independently.

DESIRED SKILLS:
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- A Risk Management Professional credential from the Project Management Institute (PMI-RMP), or related specialized Project Management training or certifications are a plus.
- Working knowledge of program management/scheduling tools and techniques (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera Project Planner, wInsight, ACEIT)

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION REQUIRED:
Candidate selected will be subject to an NACI Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to federally-controlled information and/or facilities.
