Gateway Task Order/Program Manager (Job Number:331015)
Description:
Candidate will support the DISA customer, Fort Meade, MD with some travel to other Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) locations, both CONUS and OCONUS as required. Individual will perform Program Manager responsibilities for a team of experts focused on gateway security and engineering for the boundary interface between the DoD NIPRNet and the public Internet. The successful individual will serve as the contractor’s single contract manager and shall be the contractor’s authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. Responsible for the overall management of the task order and ensuring the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. Inclusive of these responsibilities are periodic updates and status reports, track and provide key milestone and activity information, conduct meetings, formulating and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree CS/EE/IT (MS is preferred)
- PMP Certification required
- 8+ years experience as PM or related experience
- Minimum IAM Level II Certified, Level III preferred
- Demonstrated successful experience in overall technical program management within a large scale IT program. The ideal candidate must have:
- Oral and written communications required: Proven ability to produce a variety of business documents (project reports, management plans, schedules, etc) that display a command of language, clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation
- Experience planning, organizing, coordinating, facilitating, and tracking project meetings
- Experience establishing, organizing, maintaining, updating, and accounting for project knowledge management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff to apply skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems
- Experience providing project logistics support and property accountability
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project or a similar Project Management tool
In addition to overall PM knowledge and experience, additional knowledge and experience in the following areas is a plus:
- Network engineering experience and in-depth experience supporting network defense/security initiatives
- Experience and support to/of the DISA customer
- ITIL v3 Foundations Certification or higher preferred
- Experience in problem solving, process improvement methods, and business re-engineering methods
- US Citizenship and Top Secret Clearance
