Description:
SAIC is looking for a Systems Administrator in San Diego!
This person will be expected to modify, maintain, patch, upgrade and mitigate vulnerabilities on web, application, and database servers. The position will also require the Systems Administrator to develop, validate, implement, and document system modifications and enhancements while ensuring Application Programming Interface (API) standardization compliance.
Other duties may include:
- Setting up administrator and service accounts
- Maintaining system documentation
- Tuning system performance
- Installing system wide software
- Validating and implementing critical system patches
- **This position is contingent upon task order award***
Qualifications:
Required Experience: Bachelor’s Degree desired (or 4 years’ experience in lieu of) and 4 years specialized experience in Windows 2003/2008 server administration, including modifying, maintaining, patching, upgrading, and mitigating, vulnerabilities on web, application, and database servers.
Certifications: Certification in Windows Server 2003/8 Active Directory, and Configuring and Windows Server 2003/8 Network Infrastructure, Configuring; or higher (MSCA, MSCE, or MCITP)
